In February 2013, Lordvik OÜ passed the annual DNV audit for following the requests of ISO 9001 quality management standards with even better results than in 2012.
We took the results of internal audit very seriously. Most of the problems were noted and solutions updated during the management teams review.
Main observation objects in 2012 were work with personnel and following a strict cost-saving policy considering the tightening conditions of Estonian-Norwegian economic environment. Management team of Lordvik OU has made serious adjustments on how to recruit personnel. Normal skill of English language and of course high-standard of profesionalism in electrical and/or welding field are the main preconditions in order to join our team of specialists. We will not yield to any less than these preconditons, because we wish to continually be the biggest, fastest and at the same time most professional sub-contractor and manpower supplier to Westcon Power & Automation AS.
Our efforts were clearly noticed and marked by DNV’s lead-auditor Krista Tarum:
„Demands of the client are being considered when choosing personnel“ and „Employees qualification validity is being checked regularly“.
It’s not very often when audit ends with a positive recognition. This time management team of Lordvik OU was approved, which was a small surprise even for us. Most likely our wish to continually be a good sub-contractor to Westcon Group has kept us going. Also we try to help out in any possible way to support Westcon’s new iniative „We care“.
„Life is priceless, therefore working environment has to also be life preservative“ said the board member of Lordvik OU, Aivo Tõkke, in comment to Westcon’s „We care“ iniative.
